At an average of say £200 a pop that is only £180,000 income for the club. Grim indeed.

I remember some plonker on here saying Nicky Phinn was worth £1m? The club would bite the hand off for a £30-50k offer I reckon.

with the first game being away from home folk might wait and see if how the first game goes.......gubbed - folk wont bother but a win might sell a few more....

Indeed you dont really need to buy one until the second week in August anyway so most people probably wont rush. A number of people get paid at the end of the month aswell so maybe a few more will be sold in the next week or so.

just getting a new job started, so if i am never asked to work sats ill snap one up too, first year i may well have been able to do so. It'll probably go all wrong of course and ill have t work every sat for the next 20 years

I can't see the real incentive for purchasing a season ticket anymore.

Looking at the prices for me it would cost £240 in the North West however can't afford to pay it in one so total repayments would cost me £262.50 if done by direct debit. Total walk up price is £288. A saving of £25.50......

No doubt I'm going to fall ill on one Saturday/go on holiday/work commitments etc and therefore miss a game or two and therefore it wouldn't have been worthwhile buying one.

So...I'll just be paying at the gate most weeks.

Last season we sold about 1,250 ST's I think, so figures are encouraging, not fantastic but encouraging none the less

The pay on the day customers are as vital as ST fans. They are one of the few sources of cash-flow through the year. Sadly, it's likely that the majority of the ST income is already spent, before a ball is kicked
