I'm sure he had his trial and manager at the time Jim Leishman said he'd sign him in the next transfer window. Maybe.

Think he didn't fit in with the team, didn't socialise with them or something. Can be a great player but if you don't fit in with the team then there's no point. Same applies in all walks of life.

He was signed with my local team (Columbus) a few years ago, and apparently scored 5 times in 36 appearances (although I'd have sworn he'd played less than that). He has since moved on to Kansas City (via a spell in Houston). I saw him play for Kansas City about 2 weeks ago when they (somehow!?!) beat Columbus 1-0. He played the entire 90 minutes, but didn't really do much in that game, it has to said.

I took a look at his current season numbers, and he has scored 7 in 14 games, apparently, so it sounds like he is doing OK.

he was JC yeah. trying to remember if it was a different player but i think it was him, problem with signing him was they had too many strikers at the time and he didnt qualify as an under 21. if he had then they might have been able to do something, think it was something along those lines.
